"You know, I am sure if you just put your morality aside for a year or 2 our whole family would never need to worry about money ever again". Quote, by my own Mum in 2003.

For context this was 2 hours before she was seen bonnet surfing on the front of a Mitsubishi Magna down the main street of Marrabel past the pub.

Perhaps the sadest part is she was right. 

So now I will divulge some of the things I know that could help you gain wealth, if you're willing to lie, cheat and basically put your conscience aside.

Lets start with the basics in order.

#1- Tax, There are numerous ways to avoid tax but I will start with what should be the blindingly obvious -TAX FREE STATUS!

Now I am just spit balling here but there are over 600,000 registered Not For Profit (NFP)'s in Australia alone, Of these, around 55,000 are registered as charities with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). Additionally, there are about 257,000 organizations classified as non-profit, which includes both charities and other types of not-for-profit entities.

That includes but is not limited to the crazy cat lady "animal rescue shelters" who abuse the system to the extreme. 

I will start like this and let it be known this is all hypothetical, any resemblance to the actual AA is purely coincidental or accidental. 

So let's say your name is Glen, and you want to start a charity, you know because you have a big heart and want to help the animals, how do you do that.

Simple, You can register as a NFP at (ACNC) or, the Australian Tax Office (ATO) has a How to .gov website here VVVV

Now for those who didn't click the link it is fairly simple, just follow the prompts and register, the ATO and Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) will guide you through every step here VVVVV

That's it really, you now have a TAX FREE bank account with which to funnel any money you wish with very little to no scrutiny. I have personally seen countless (pun intended) abstract auditors reports on various NPF ORG's with a highlighted section with some usual legal jargon along the lines of -The auditors have serious concerns regarding the accounting or recorded collection of cash donations-.

This is never questioned even after an audit with serious concerns.

Donations easily solicited at events or stranger still large amounts collected despite never having any face to face events or opportunities for people to donate cash.

Who cares every $1 is tax free.

Now how can You use your TAX FREE NOT FOR PROFIT ORG? 

Well...

You need "things" to run your NFP ORG, and guess what? 

As a starting base the government offers you $30,000 TAX FREE just for saving the world by raising awareness, so you will need a top of the line computer to spread your awareness and a nice office next to your bedroom which will cover 50% of the rent for your expensive apartment where you conveniently live.

Then there is your wages, as self appointed CEO KAT LOVER you have to pay yourself for your efforts to raise awareness, known as a portion of other peoples donations, and if you're clever like Katrina you keep it under the threshold of income that affects your pension, so you get the $30k from the pension and in charge of the $30k for your NFP you pay yourself $15k, and get subsidised rent all tax free.

That is all before you have harvested DOLLAR $1 from your donations. 

The cash ones are best, as mentioned even auditors notes will be ignored.

AA became a $1Million a year donation recipient in less than 3 years. 

I have seen 5 creeps with nothing but an idea and the internet become millionaires in less than 15 months legitimately offering nothing but hope, emails, t-shirts and bumper stickers. 

Sadly every sucker thought they were saving endangered animals by "raising awareness" and passing on 6c out of every 100c to an actual (affiliated) charity saving some animals by buying their own private petting zoo.

The most reliable figures without a deep dive I could find are 10 years old that the charity sector alone received $42 billion from government grants in 2013-14.

Not all not-for-profits are charities, and many other organizations (like sports clubs, cultural institutions and crazy Kat ladies etc.) receive government funding as well on top of the $40 Billion with a B.

I have in the last 14 years witnessed first hand 4 animal based NFP's shut down by the RSPCA in SA alone, ironically a huge NFP who also does a poor job and spends tens of millions of donated money annually in court cases they frequently lose, They have multiple convictions of "destroying/euthanizing" healthy cared for animals for example.

And that is it friends, Welcome to the wide world of rorts.

It is a massive industry in Australia, not just Tax avoidance but grants and subsidies for all to the tune of at least $50 BILLION per year that we currently know about. 

Keep in mind just because you're not in on it or donating, you're still paying for it with every good or service purchased...

Who knew? 

All you need to do is cast aside your morals and fill in some paperwork and you too could be riding the NFP TAX FREE gravy train.
