BEWARE the "Farmers Market".

 

Hello, ok I want to explain a true story that happened to me as a farmer, in 2010 I grew a big patch pumpkins, and there are a lot of odd ones or leftovers but still good very big, most of them approximately four kilos each.

On one day as I was taking some ducks to market I decided to take 10 of my pumpkin's with me, there an unusual breed or species for the state of South Australia called jarrahdale's, not a very commercially popular type of pumpkin, anyway I went to the market which is an auction-based, meaning I have to pay 10% of any money that I acquire through the auction process to the vendor for providing the service.

 I had to stack of 10 pumpkins which garnered a bid of $2.50 per pumpkin making a total of 25 dollars of which I lost $2.50 to the auctioneers.

 I was present at the sale and I noted the persons buying said pumpkins, they definitely noticed me, this all happened on a Wednesday in 2010.

We spent the night in the city and the following day Thursday went to a pop-up  held in Salsbury, this market is known as a "farmers market", as I walked around this "farmers market" imagine my surprise to see a stall with six of my pumpkins sold the previous day.

Then imagine my surprise to find out that they were charging $12 dollars per pumpkin, that's correct I can still remember the vendor or should I call them stall holder or on seller, recognised my face immediately and oh the look in her eyes was like that of a deer in a headlight,  she knew she had been caught, the Guilt was plain and obvious after which she did everything she could to avoid I contact, I also noticed her partner and as soon as he spotted me he too would not look me in the eye.

 I stood at the front of their stall and simply said "nice pumpkins",  and then walked away.

 I was later to find out the organiser of said markets, that's" farmers market" held another one at the Old Spot Hotel car park, and was one Mark Aldridge who had made quite a pretty penny, his stall holders were all in on the scam.
Now I can let go the people making jams and preserves but the "fresh" stuff is a crock of shit.
 The following Wednesday I attended the Gawler market where actual farmers and producers sell, so at that auction I took notes, there were at least a dozen faces there all of who I would see the very next weekend on Saturday just down the road with the produce that they had purchased marked up as much as a thousand percent, meanwhile the advertising for the farmers market run by Mark was lying in its advertisements saying that they gave major support to " LOCAL farmers and producers".

The Old Spot is not his only "market" BTW, he even calls them Farm DIRECT community on his logo used online.

From my farm or the port to Gawler markets then who knows where finally the FDCM = "DIRECT"??

Another lie when in fact they were ripping them off at the auction and then charging far to much for the produce, Not only that the apples in July smelled funny, Imported food from both other states and sold straight off the boat at Port Adelaide also made an appearance.

 I was also to find out that Mark had secured government funding as well as running his business as an Ngo or non-government organization for the purposes of avoiding tax and on top of that they had recently received a large grant, a sum i will not disclose here but in the multiple tens of thousands while he was charging stall holders fees and avoiding almost any expense of his own.

This man then used Facebook to virtue signal and tell everybody how much of a saint he was to help the struggling farmers, it's been over 15 years since those few weeks and I've never been able to do anything about it even to mention it publicly brings up the threat of liable or worse defamation even though nothing I have said is untrue and while the business / NGO may be legal it is in no way ethical and the moral standing of those involved is pure gutter Filth.

It is not just the farmers who lose, it is the consumer paying 12 dollars for something I would have been happy to give them for for $4, as well as that taxpayers who fund the falsely titled farmers market which is indeed nothing more than on selling charlatans, in fact my morals dictate that the word fraud applies congruent with lies, deception and deceptive trading practices, more than anything I have ever known associated with the old spot markets.

The chief profiteer is a well known grifter, son of a Mayor and had endless issues with various councils his mum was not involved in, has advocated for horrible animal abusers taking on the RSPCA, faced illegal firearms charges and spends the whole time claiming to be the victim of people he has publicly bullied, particularly online.

Now if that is not enough he and none of his associates have ever helped or marched for any cause I have been involved with.

Why do I mention this? Because he is now an "Organiser" of the Australia First Marches, those against mass immigration etc.

So you can 'mark' my words here and now, NO!
 I will not be seen to be associated with a criminal, narcissistic, Fabian, abusive, drop kick loser and all round fucking dirty CUNT.

Feel free to say whatever you like about me, I will not march in SA...

I also wont tolerate the slightest sideways look for any degenerate willing to associate with Mark, you can burn in fucking hell with that piece of shit cunt too.

P.S. I have since met 3 other people who all have dirt on Mark and I have deliberately left out the worst of his associations and behaviours so that I can publish this without threat of legal recourse.

Everything published I am not only willing to present in court I actually hope it would come to that, I would relish the opportunity to have it all made as public as possible...
